A facebook page username is what will become your page's' URL. It's similar to getting a domain name which can make it easier for people to find you. For example, our username is "yarseo", which makes it easier for customers o followers to find us by simply adding yarseo at the end of www.facebook.com. For example www.fb.com/yarseo.
To do this, visit your page's about section and click on Create Page @username. Usually there's a 25 followers minimum required to allow you to do this, however sometimes Facebook will allow you to get one from the moment you create your page if enough information is provided.

A custom URL or username will enhance your business page presence both on Facebook and in major search engines such as Google. It's on-page SEO.
A simple yet powerful way for increasing your fan page visibility! And it only takes a couple minutes at best.

If you hover the little check mark, you get a message saying "Facebook confirmed this is an authentic Page for this business or organization."
Another simple but very effective way of putting a spotlight on your fan page.

When you opt-in, you're making sure that people can check-in and their check-ins will be displayed on your page and all over Facebook.
That's it!
